"CANOPY" An Exhibition of Creative Connection and Global Vision

Canopy – Arts Collective Exhibition in Lostwithiel, Cornwall

Step into “Canopy”, a vibrant two-week exhibition from the Arts Collective at Elaine Foster-Gandey Art, featuring the work of 14 artists, local and International, located on the main high street in Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

This diverse exhibition presents an exciting mix of painting, drawing, ceramics, textiles and print, highlighting the talent of both established Cornish artists and emerging voices, shown alongside international perspectives all brought together under one creative roof.

Why Canopy?

The title Canopy draws inspiration from the upper layers of the forest, where light filters through the trees, creating a shimmering play of shadows and illumination. The canopy shelters and nourishes all that lies beneath—plants, insects, animals, and people—creating a natural space of protection, connection, and life.

Each artist in the exhibition has responded to this theme in their own way, exploring ideas of growth, shelter, the hidden and the revealed, and the natural and emotional layers that form our surroundings.
