Elaine Foster-Gandey Art, Lostwithiel, is proud to present a special International Women’s Day textiles exhibition, bringing together six acclaimed women artists alongside historic banners from WI Cornwall, celebrating the power of stitch as expression, protest and care.

The exhibition opens with a Private View on Friday 6th March, 5–8pm, featuring readings from local women poets and short talks by the exhibiting artists. All are welcome.

Participating artists include:

  • Cas Holmes

  • Rosie James

  • The Subversive Stitcher

  • Jenni Dutton

  • Sue Spence

  • Elaine Foster-Gandey

Together, they present an exciting range of contemporary stitched and textile works that explore identity, activism, memory and the deeply human act of making.
